Merchant Terms

1What AgesSync is

AgesSync is the app approved merchants use to list products and keep them up to date in the Ages Shop app. When you save a change, it appears to shoppers in Ages Shop in real time.

AgesSync is for merchants only. Shoppers use the Ages Shop app, which has its own terms.

2Applying and approval

Anyone can create an AgesSync account and apply. You cannot list products until we approve your application. We may approve, reject or ask for more information at our discretion, and we do not have to give a reason.

You must be at least 18 and able to sell goods lawfully in Ghana. Everything you tell us in your application must be true and kept up to date. If we reject an application you can correct it and apply again.

3Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for anyone you allow to use it. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

4What you may list

You may only list products you are legally allowed to sell and that you can supply. You must not list:

• illegal, counterfeit, stolen or unsafe goods;
• weapons, drugs, regulated medicines or anything that needs a licence you do not hold;
• adult content, or goods that are hateful, deceptive or infringe anyone's rights;
• anything we reasonably tell you we do not allow.

5Accuracy of listings

Titles, descriptions, sizes, prices and photos must be accurate and not misleading. Prices are in Ghana cedis (GH₵). Do not use discounts or badges (such as Hot, New or Sale) that are not true. Ratings and reviews are managed by us; you cannot set or change them.

If a product is unavailable, hide it right away. Changes you save go live immediately, so check them before you save.

6Photos and content

You must own, or have the right to use, every photo and piece of text you upload. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, resize and promote that content in Ages Shop and related marketing for as long as the product is listed. You keep ownership of your content.

7Orders and fulfilment

When shoppers buy your products you are responsible for supplying them as described and on time, and for honouring our returns and refunds rules as they apply to your products. Order handling tools will be added to AgesSync over time, and we will tell you how they work before they apply.

8Fees and payouts

Any fees, commissions and payout arrangements will be agreed with you in writing before they apply. Nothing in these Terms makes you our employee, agent or partner.

9Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your business and products, including consumer protection, product safety, labelling, tax and licensing laws.

10Shopper information

If you receive a shopper's personal information to fulfil an order, use it only for that order, keep it secure, and do not share or sell it. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11Suspension and removal

We may reject a listing, hide a product, suspend your account or end your access if you break these Terms, if we receive credible complaints, if we suspect fraud, or to protect shoppers or the platform. We will try to tell you why, but we may act first where there is risk.

12Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in AgesSync under Profile. Your products will be hidden from Ages Shop. Where the law or an existing order requires us to keep certain records, we will keep only what is needed and for as long as required.

13Service availability

We work to keep AgesSync available but provide it "as is" and "as available", and we may change or stop features at any time.

14Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, sales, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You are responsible for claims arising from your products, listings and conduct, and you agree to cover our reasonable losses from them.

15Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally. If we cannot, the courts of Ghana will have jurisdiction.

16Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make an important change we will show the new version in AgesSync and update the effective date. If you keep using AgesSync after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
